Our client is looking for a top-notch developer who have a passion for building delightful websites that people love to use and who have a special interest in UI development. If you love developing sites using Ruby on Rails or if you’re just excited to learn, this may be the place for you. This company is one of the highest traffic Rails sites on the Internet, and they’ve been using it since the beginning.

+ In depth knowledge of CSS and HTML/XHTML
+ Experience with JavaScript and/or ActionScript
+ Basic understanding of software development life cycle
+ Ability to write clean code that works
+ Ability to code in at least one of: Perl, Ruby, Java, Python, C#/C++/C
+ Familiarity with one or more web development frameworks

+ Experience with XSLT, mod_perl and/or XML
+ Database development experience
+ Development experience in Linux environment.
+ Understanding of one or more areas of relevant expertise: search engine design, people search, distributed computing, database optimization, messaging, VOIP, social networking, mobile applications, web design

BS or advanced degree in CS, CSE or EE, or equivalent experience
